Earn an Associate of Arts degree at ACC under the statewide elementary education transfer agreement. Then transfer to a Colorado four-year institution and complete your Bachelor's degree and elementary education licensure requirements and qualify for a teaching license, grades K-6.
With an advisor develop an Associate of Arts academic plan that:
- Identifies the first 41 hours of guaranteed transfer credit to teacher education programs in Colorado.
- Determines the final 19 credit hours necessary for transfer to the teacher education program at the four year college where you wish to complete your Bachelor's degree

Start at ACC by earning guaranteed transfer credits in the content area you wish to teach; areas such as English, Social Studies, Science, Math. You can also earn guaranteed transfer credits for your education foundation courses. Transfer these credits to the Colorado four-year public institution of your choice to complete your Bachelor's degree in a specific content area and earn a teaching license for grades 6-12.
