Step 1: Get Prepared
If you haven't done so already, take the college placement test. The scoring sheet you receive will help you choose the course that is right for you. Step 2: Choose Your Path
Decide your educational/career goals to help you decide which direction you need to go.
Are you entering a technical field such as Automotive Technology or Interior Design? Are you entering a program in the Liberal Arts such as History, Sociology, or Communications? Are you pursuing an Associates in Nursing? Does your program require Statistics (MAT 135) or Math for Liberal Arts (MAT 120)? Are you certain your program does NOT require College Algebra (MAT 121)?

Are you entering a program in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics? Does your program require College Algebra (MAT 121) or Calculus (MAT 125 or MAT 201)?
