Trish Elledge
With more courts ordering litigants to mediation, corporations implementing internal dispute resolution systems, and neighborhood associations realizing the long-term benefits of amicably resolving disputes among neighbors, the field of professional mediation has finally created an identity of its own. Be exposed to the core competencies of the mediation process, and be able to absorb and immediately apply each skill in a step-by-step process. Be transformed into a skilled, experienced, and confident mediator. This intensive 40-hour basic mediation training course meets the voluntary minimum training guidelines for most mediation organizations across the U.S., U.K. and Canada, including the International Alliance of Certified Professional Mediators (IACPM) and, locally, the Mediation Association of Colorado (MAC).
