GEY 135 Environmental Geology w/Lab: GT-SC1
Introduces the subject geology as it relates to human activities. Geologic hazards such as floods, landslides, earthquakes, and volcanoes are investigated. Mineral, energy, soil, and water resources are discussed in terms of their geologic formation and identification, usage by society, and associated environmental impacts. Land use issues, waste and pollution are also examined.
