Phi Theta Kappa Book Sale

Better World Books Drive

Donate “gently used” old textbooks to the Phi Theta Kappa Better World Book Drive. Collected books are sent to Africa to help educate students who have no other way of obtaining textbooks.

Drop your old texts in the collection boxes outside of the Phi Theta Kappa office and outside the Bookstore.

The Honors Study Topic

Our current topic was conceived by the Honors Committee at the International Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters. Topics are created to be timely, thought provoking and inter-disciplinary.

The focus of the 2012 – 2013 Honors Topic is The Culture of Competition. This subject brings important current issues to the fore and encourages Phi Theta Kappans to examine how these issues affect their lives. We plan activities that allow us and the ACC community to explore this complex theme. We focus on the Honors Study Topic using an Honors In Action project.  Please ask one of the chapter officers for more details.

Members of our chapter also have enjoyed study in regional conferences and the annual Honors Institute, a seminar held every June. Members of our chapter have attended this conference every year for more than 10 years.
