PHY
212

Covers the physics of electricity and magnetism using conceptual and mathematical reasoning, including calculus. Maxwell's equations, waves, and time-varying circuits will be covered. Optional topics include wave and geometric optics and AC circuits. The Colorado Commission on Higher Education has approved PHY 212 for inclusion in the Guaranteed Transfer (GT) Pathways program in the GT- SC1 category. For transferring students, successful completion with a minimum C‒ grade guarantees transfer and application of credit in this GT Pathways category.
