The Arapahoe Community College Ceramics Department and the ACC Foundation will host a two-day workshop with nationally-recognized artist Blair Meerfeld of Highfield Pottery on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15-16, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. both days in the Summit Room (Littleton Campus).

Meerfeld will demonstrate his wheel-thrown vessels and signature teapots, as well as his glaze applications for salt and wood firing.

Tickets can be purchased on the ACC Foundation website ($150 for general public, $100 for ACC students / Arapahoe Ceramics Guild members), and proceeds will benefit ACC ceramics students and programs.

Affordable Arts Festival 2016 reaches thousands of art lovers

Sunday, August 28, 2016 - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Arapahoe Community College Campus - Littleton, CO

The Affordable Arts Festival featured fine arts and fine crafts - all for sale for under $100 - from more than 140 artists. Proceeds from admission fees benefited the ACC Foundation.

Thank you to all those in attendance in support of the foundation's mission. The best gift one can receive is an extraordinary education. With your help, we raised nearly $14,000 for our student scholarship programs!

175 ACC supporters, a dozen scholarship recipients and their families celebrated the "Power of Education" with keynote speaker Miss Colorado, Kelley Johnson and distinguished alumna Dr. Jane Scott, inventor of the Tortle. During the 2015-2016 academic year, the ACC Foundation awarded $225,525 in scholarships to 128 students.
