Students may take the official GED examination in the Testing Center,
Room M2280. Students must be 17 years of age, provide a current
Colorado photo identification card, current license or current passport
, and pay a fee of $70. Students who are under the age of 17 will
need to obtain an age waiver application from the Testing Center
office 303.797.5993 or the State Department of Education 303.866.6613.

General Guidelines
- Know your Social Security number.
- Have a current photo ID or passport.
- GED retake tests cost $16 in each section
- GED will be done by appointment only. Phone 303.797.5993.
After taking the pretest students will be advised about their strengths
and weaknesses. Students who are not yet ready to take the official
GED test may enroll in our instructional program. An individualized
program of study will help each student gain the competencies to
take the official test as quickly as possible.

Students may enroll for GED
instruction through Community Education. Phone 303.797.5722.
Instruction is provided 9:00 a.m. to noon on Monday and Tuesday
mornings; 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. GED instruction
observes the ACC calendar.
