2008–2009 Scholarships at ACC

Requirements for scholarships may vary, such as academic achievement, program of study, civic involvement and/or financial need, depending upon the individual scholarship criteria established by the donors. In addition, most programs require you to have submitted a FAFSA for the applicable academic year.

The ACC Accounting Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must be a Colorado resident Must be a current ACC student Must be degree–seeking with an Accounting Major Must have completed ACC 121 and 122 courses with a grade of B or higher Must be involved in community service, such as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
The ACC General Scholarship Application Deadline: October 30, 2008	Must be a current ACC student Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher Demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA
Campus Police Scholarship Application Deadline: October 30, 2008	Must have 2.75 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program or the Law Enforcement Academy (LEA) Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
The Centennial Rotary Scholarship Application Deadline: October 30, 2008	Must be an Arapahoe Community College student Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 Must be a Colorado resident
Colorado Centennial Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have 3.75 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Confirm good standing in eligibility by completing FAFSA
Computer Based Electronics Technology Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be enrolled in the Computer Based Electronics Technology Program at ACC Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
The Denver Fabrics Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be an ACC student Must be a Colorado resident Must be an Interior Design Major Must have completed at least nine (9) semester credit hours of Interior Design coursework Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Ellie and Manny Greenberg Scholarship Application Deadline: October 30, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Must be an accepted ACC student Must be enrolled full–time High school students must submit an official transcript Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
First Generation Scholarship Application Deadline for 2008–2009 academic year: April 15, 2008 2008–2009 First Generation Scholarship Application Form	Must have 2.25 cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA Must be a first generation student: Neither parent has a bachelor’s degree. Must be a first–time ACC student: Joint enrollment at ACC prior to your high school graduation does not prevent your eligibility.
Forsyth Family Criminal Justice Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be an ACC student who has a high school diploma or GED Declared major in Criminal Justice Must have completed CRJ 110: Intro to Criminal Justice with a grade of B or better.
The Freda T. Roof Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Must be a current ACC student Must be pursuing a degree or certificate program Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Hoff Miller Ltd. Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a continuing ACC student Must be a sophomore Must be an Interior Design Major Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Judith A. Ganschaw Accounting Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must be a current ACC student Must be degree–seeking with an Accounting Major Must have completed ACC 121 and 122 courses plus one(1) other Accounting course required for the AAS Accounting Major with a grade of A Preference given to First Generation students: Neither parent has a bachelor’s degree
Dr. Karen Cline–Lane Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Must be an accepted ACC student High school students must submit an official transcript Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Kingdom Enlightenment Scholarship Application Deadline: October 30, 2008	Must have 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado high school graduate (within 5 years) Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Law Enforcement Academy Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must be an ACC student Must be accepted in the Law Enforcement Academy (LEA) Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Littleton Sunshine Rotary Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a current ACC student Must be a Colorado resident
Manis Nursing Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a second year nursing student enrolled in the Nursing Program at ACC Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Mark Hopton Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a continuing ACC student Must be a Colorado resident Preference given to students enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Program: Microbiology,/Parasitology/Mycology classes Must have completed at least six (6) semester credit hours of MLT coursework Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Application Deadline: October 30, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Must be an accepted ACC student Must be enrolled full–time High school students must submit an official transcript Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
The Nursing Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be enrolled in the Nursing Program at ACC Must be a single parent Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Palace Construction Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum overall 2.75 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a current ACC student Must be a Construction Supervision Major Must have completed at least twenty–four (24) semester credit hours of coursework Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
The Stazel Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be a Colorado resident Must be a current ACC student Priority will be given to single parents working toward a two–year degree Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Town and Gown Scholarship Application Deadline: May 1, 2008	Must have minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher Must be an accepted ACC student Must be a Colorado resident Must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) semester credit hours Must be enrolled in eligible degree or certificate program Preference given to students enrolled in Paralegal Program Must demonstrate financial aid by completing FAFSA
Western Welcome Week, Inc. Scholarship Application Deadline: See department chair for details	Must be enrolled in an Event Management course at ACC (credit or non-credit) See department chair for details
