Transfer Information Center

Start college in your own backyard at ACC!

While staying close to home, you’ll pay a lot less than the cost of a four-year school, enjoy more personalized attention in our small classes, and most importantly, you can accumulate up to 60 credit hours that will transfer to other institutions!

Many local college representatives visit ACC to help you with transfer opportunities.

Your A.A. or A.S. Degree May Transfer to a Colorado Public 4-Year College or University

If you complete the appropriate courses for your major, you may be able to earn a bachelor’s degree in an additional 60 credits. (Credits from private, non-accredited or out-of-state institutions, or courses over 10 years old, are not guaranteed to transfer.) See more information on Guaranteed Transfer here. Contact the 4-year institution of your choice for more information.

Meet with an ACC advisor or a prospective college’s Admissions Department to help you:

  • Identify the right place, curriculum and degree program for you
  • Ensure that you complete the courses you'll need
  • Evaluate the credits and/or degrees you want to transfer
  • Plan the transfer process
