ACC Encourages Students to Register Early

(November 6, 2007 - Littleton, Colo.) Arapahoe Community College's Spring 2008 semester starts January 14 but college officials are encouraging students to register for classes now. "Each semester we have 6,500 students vying for our credit offerings," explains ACC President Dr. Bert Glandon. "Our statistics tell us that registering more than a month in advance of the semester gives a student a high probability of getting the classes, schedule and instructors they want. Plus, if they should need the assistance of one of our staff, it spares them having to wait in the long lines that develop just before the semester begins."

Sophomore Ian Davis agrees. "The biggest thing for me is being able to schedule all my classes close together so I'm not stuck on campus for long periods between classes," he comments. "By not waiting until the last minute to sign up for Fall classes, I was able to build a course schedule that optimally accommodated my other commitments."

To see ACC's Spring 2008 Schedule of Classes, visit www.arapahoe.edu/schedule/ or visit either the College's Information Central desk on the second floor of ACC's Main Building at 5900 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton, or the front desk of the University Center at Chaparral at 15653 Brookstone Drive in Parker. To register students should go to www.arapahoe.edu and click on the "MyCommunity EDUCATION" logo," or call admissions at 303.797.5621.
