ACC Hosts "Impressions of Provence and Italy" ACC Faculty and Student Exhibit

(November 2, 20007 - Littleton, Colo.) The Colorado Gallery of the Arts at Arapahoe Community College (ACC) will host an exhibition of student art works from the Summer Study Program in France and Italy 2007. "Impressions of Provence and Italy: Will show over 30 artists displaying Drawings, Paintings and Photographs will run from November 8 to December 6.

Students from ACC's French, painting and art history programs spent five days in Paris and three weeks in Aix-en-Provence. Students from ACC's drawing, photography and art history programs spent five days in Rome, five days in Cortona and four days in Florence, Italy.

The art exhibited in this show captures the sights, vivid colors and impressions of the artists experiences. The opening reception will be held on Friday, November 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

Colorado Gallery of the Arts' hours are: Mondays through Friday, noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday evenings from 5 - 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The gallery is closed for the week of Thanksgiving. There is no admission charge. The gallery is located on the first floor of the College's Annex building at 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.
