Enjoy Prizes, Demonstrations, Food and Fun at Community Appreciation Day for ACC's New and Improved Fitness Center

(September 28, 2007 - Littleton, Colo.) Arapahoe Community College's Fitness Center exists not only for students but for the community. However, people who haven't been to it lately should take the opportunity to experience the extensive upgrades and renovations that have been made to it during the past few months at an upcoming Community Appreciation Day.

The Community Appreciation Day will be Saturday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees will be treated to refreshments, door prizes, demonstration classes (scuba, pilates, yoga and SilverSneakers), free massages and a complimentary blood pressure screening. The Appreciation Day will also be a chance to see the Fitness Center's many enhancements which include: 17 new fitness machines; new carpeting; new painting; a renovated pool with crystal clear water; and new interior design elements. These improvements will complement the Center's acclaimed audio work-out circuit system, which those attending may also try.

Those who stop by the Appreciation Day will also receive information on: the state of their personal-level of fitness; metabolic testing; affordable personal training; and orientations to new and existing fitness machines.

The ACC Fitness Center's Appreciation Day is being presented by: Nautilus Fitness Equipment, Kaiser Permanente, Secure Horizons, Humana, Gobe Divers and Dody Chiropractic.
