ENROLL NOW FOR LATE START CLASSES AT ARAPAHOE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

(September 19, 2007 - Littleton, Colo.) Although the full Fall semester registration has come and gone at Arapahoe Community College, students may still enroll for late start classes. Arapahoe Community College has more than 80 late start Fall semester classes. Start dates for these classes range from late September to mid-November. These classes provide an accelerated way for students to earn college credits in anywhere between 4 and 10 weeks. While some of these courses occur during the day, many are offered in the evening so working adults may attend.

"Enrolling in our late start classes provides flexibility for students who may have other scheduling issues because of family and employment demands on their time," explains ACC President Dr. Bert Glandon. "The classes are also an excellent opportunity for students needing to pick up an additional class and those who missed the registration deadline for the regular schedule."

Classes are still available at the main campus in Littleton and ACC's University Center at Chaparral, just three miles east of I-25 and Lincoln in Parker. Late start classes are being offered in the following subject areas: Activity Professional Training, Art, Astronomy, Business, Computer Aided Design, Computer Information Systems, Computer Networking, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Economics, Education, Electronics and Computer Technology, English, Geology, Health and Wellness, Literature, Management, Marketing, Math, Medical Office Technology, Meteorology, Philosophy, Physical Education, Psychology, Speech, Sociology, Real Estate and Theatre.

Students who enroll in these classes may earn anywhere from one to six course credits. Many of these credits are transferable to Colorado's public four-year colleges and universities.
