Enjoy Performances from Seven International Cultures at the ACC May Faire

(April 13, 2007 – Littleton, Colo.) On April 26, Arapahoe Community College will host May Faire, a multi-cultural event celebrating spring. Seven cultures will be featured at the event that starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. May Faire will take place on the west lawn of ACC’s Main campus at 5900 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.

ACC’s May Faire will feature the following performance groups: The Black Hands Drum Ensemble (African Drummers); Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi (Traditional Lion and Dragon Dancers); Wild Mountain Celts (Acoustic Celtic Folk Band); Denver Indian Singers and Dancers (Native American); Dinorah (Mexican Musician); Heritage Irish Stepdancers; and, Khadijah (Belly dancer).

ACC’s May Faire will also feature alpacas, a craft table, vendors, a henna artist, chair massages, kettle corn, ice cream and free soda. Representatives from the Max Fund. a non-profit no-kill shelter that provides medical care for injured stray/abandoned pets and then places them in homes, will also be on hand. The event is free; however, the refreshments, tattoos and massages will have charges determined by the vendors.
