Public Invited to February 2 Opening Reception for
Architectural and Interior Design Exhibit at ACC's Colorado Gallery of the Arts

The work of Architectural Technology student Russell Pershing, home plans, will be featured.
(January 23, 2006 – Littleton, Colo.) Art lovers and aficionados of architecture and interior design are invited to the opening reception for the latest exhibit coming to Arapahoe Community College’s (ACC) Colorado Gallery of the Arts. The reception will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007 from 5–7 p.m. The exhibit dubbed, “What Dreams May Come: Manifesting the Potency of the Imagination in Constructive Design,” will feature the finest works of ACC’s Interior Design and Architectural Technology program students.
“It only takes a leisurely stroll down the halls of ACC’s Art and Design Center to see the talent being nurtured in the classrooms there,” remarks American Society of Interior Design (ASID)-ACC Student Chapter President Gala Stude. “The Architectural Technology Program and the Interior Design Program are no exceptions,” she continues. “The drawings, boards, renderings and plans themselves are not only fine representations of what they represent ‘full scale,’ but can stand alone as intrinsic works of art and graphic design.”
The exhibition will run from February 2 – March 9. “Come take a visual tour of the innovative work from the upcoming generation of architecture and design professionals,” encourages Stude. The opening reception will be hosted by ACC’s ASID student chapter. The Colorado Gallery of the Arts is located inside the Main Building of Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive. The Gallery is located on the first floor at the northeast end of the building (near the Annex). The Gallery’s hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Tuesday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m. The Gallery will hold special hours on Saturday February 17 from 10 to 3 p.m.
