ACC's Corporate Learning Division Workshop to Teach
How To Do More, With Less Stress, In Less Time
(June 1, 2007 – Parker, Colo.) This Summer, Arapahoe Community College’s Corporate Learning Division is offering a workshop to teach professionals a system of getting organized with many career and life enhancing benefits. Known as the “GO System,” the method enables busy people to accomplish more, with less stress and in less time. Those interested in taking the workshop can sign up to take it on June 20, July 19 or August 16 at ACC’s University Center at Chaparral (UCC). The workshop is offered from 9 a.m. to noon on all three dates. UCC is located just three miles east of I-25 and Lincoln Avenue at 15653 Brookstone Drive, in Parker.
The workshop is taught by productivity expert Jan Keller. Keller has over 20 years of corporate and entrepreneurial business experience and is a certified as a GO System Trainer. She is also a member of the Network for Productivity Excellence and the National Association of Professional Organizers.
“This workshop is perfect for those who are tired of feeling buried under a pile of work that only seems to get bigger every day,” remarks Corporate Learning Division Director Cindy Nowak.
Participates will learn proven methods for handling the mass of incoming items professionals receive via phone, e-mail and visitors. They will also learn: the “rational use” of time; how to decrease productivity-killing stress and anxiety; how to improve their ability to quickly recover from unexpected interruptions; how to deal with personality issues; and, how to improve their ability to follow up and follow through on assignments.
For more information on registration and the workshop’s cost call Meredith Tofield at 303.734.3701.
