INTERNATIONAL DAY AT ACC TO FEATURE ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD AND ARTIFACTS FROM OVER 20 COUNTRIES

(March 27, 2007 – Littleton, Colo.) Students from more than 20 countries will host the 27th annual International Day at Arapahoe Community College Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event, dubbed “Join the World,” will feature booths that offer information, international snacks, and artifacts from each country. Guests can participate in an International Trivia Quiz to win free dinners at Littleton ethnic restaurants. The Mariachi Aguilas de Mexico will open the event, followed by Sherefe, a Mediterranean musical group, and international students performing and teaching Latin salsa and Arab dancing.
Students participating in the event represent Chile, Colombia, Congo, Dominican Republic, Georgia, Honduras, India, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, Oman, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, and Viet Nam,
