Library Faculty Liaison Program

• This program assigns one ACC librarian to each department on campus to serve as a contact person for Library services and information. This librarian is responsible for purchasing materials in your area. We welcome and encourage recommendations from faculty for material that will enhance your curriculum. Please call 303.797.5090 to learn the contact person for your department.

Library Instruction

• Instructors can schedule one hour Library orientation sessions for their classes on topics covering our catalog, databases (with full text journals), online search strategies and more; coverage of specific topics can be arranged. Call the Library at 303.797.5726 two weeks in advance to set up a Library instruction class or to obtain more information.

Turnitin

• Turnitin.com is a Web-based plagiarism detection service available to ACC faculty and staff. Please see the Turnitin link on the menu bar to the left for more information.

Library Tour for Individual Faculty

• Walk through your subject area with a librarian. A demonstration of our databases is also available.

Reserve Collection

• Usually designated by faculty, the Reserve Collection contains course specific materials located at the circulation desk. These materials are for use by students in the Library only. While some overnight checkout formats are available, short-term checkout from thirty minutes to two hours is the norm. Please allow Library staff 24 hours to process the material.

Interlibrary Loan

• If you need a book or periodical article that the Library does not own, we can get it for you from another library via our interlibrary loan service (ILL). Available to all ACC faculty, students and staff.
