Arapahoe Community College was founded in 1964 in Littleton, Colorado. Presently we serve nearly 7,800 students per semester in our credit and non-credit programs and offer over 116 degree and certificate programs. Arapahoe Community College also has a satellite campus at The University Center at Chaparral, near Parker, Colorado.

To develop programs and processes that serve students, internal constituents and external community in the form of educational partnerships. This position provides leadership of advising and retention initiatives using best practices and activities to achieve Colorado Department of Education performance contract requirements including fall to fall retention rates, 3 year degree completion rates, increasing diversity and service to special populations. The Director will work collaboratively within the college to develop and grow programs that increase student success including increased integration of the Career Center into advising and retention activities. The Director should ensure that advisors and staff provide consistent and superior customer service including accurate information to students. In addition to management of advisors, the Director provides leadership for the Testing and Career Centers and works with students in an advisng capacity.

Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. The anticipated starting salary will be in the upper 40's to mid 50’s. ACC offers a competitive benefit program including health, dental and life insurance.
