Second Annual Littleton Safety Day by the Littleton Police Department. This event will feature displays of police equipment, special teams, and programs including: Bicycle safety • Free kids' bike helmets (while they last) • K-9 unit • DUI awareness • Crime prevention • SWAT team • Traffic unit • Patrol vehicles • ID Theft awareness • Internet safety for kids • Traffic safety • Illegal drug recognition • Child ID kit • Citizen Academy • Junior Police Academy and Teen CSI. • Crash cars • Expired medicine drop-off • Shred unwanted documents • Mobile command post • Dunk tank • Recycle electronics (small fee may apply) • Food and fun!

Arapahoe Community College conducts a commencement ceremony in the spring for students who have successfully completed their degree or certificate programs.  This year’s ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. 

The ceremony is open to Summer and Fall 2009 graduates and Spring 2010 candidates who have successfully completed their program requirements. If you will not finish all your degree requirements by the end of the Spring semester, you may still participate in the ceremony.
