Spring International Language Center at Arapahoe Community College presents its 32nd annual International Day celebration on Wednesday, Apr. 18, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Hall (Room M1900) at the Littleton Campus.
The festivities will include strolling mariachis, Arabic lute music, Japanese drummers and international students in native dress from around the world. Individual booths from countries represented at ACC and Spring International will transform the dining hall into an international bazaar.
Sample free snacks, talk to international students about their countries and obtain printed culturegrams. Those in attendance will also be provided with the opportunity to have their name written in several different languages.
The Mariachi Aguilas de Mexico will open the event at 11:00 a.m., followed by Denver Taiko Japanese drummers on the college patio and student entertainment on stage.
