Department Chair: Linda Cagle Associate of Applied Science DegreeThe Travel and Tourism Management program is designed for individuals interested in careers in the Travel and Tourism industry. The program emphasizes travel careers with such employers as airlines, cruise lines, travel agencies, wholesale tour companies, meeting planning and corporations using in-house travel planners. The addition of management courses that are specific to the industry will help individuals prepare for managerial jobs in one of the fastest growing industries in the country. In addition to the courses required for the degree program, there are additional special topic courses offered to help educate both graduates and industry personnel in up-dating skills and acquiring new skills. Travel and Tourism CertificateThe Travel and Tourism program is designed to prepare individuals for career opportunities in one of the fastest growing fields in Colorado. In addition to travel agencies, career opportunities exist with air lines, cruise lines, hotels and as corporate travel planners in large corporations. |
