I’ve taught in the Communications Department at ACC for the past five years.  I particularly enjoy teaching at the community college level because of the diversity of the student body.  I’m a strong advocate of community colleges because I got my start at one – Mesa Junior College in Grand Junction.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy a variety of activities including hiking (I completed my 22nd 14er last summer), yoga and tennis.  I also enjoy traveling – my most recent trip took me to New Zealand.  When I’m not busy teaching and traveling I like to visit my daughter and son-in-law in Chicago and my son in Santa Monica.
