SPE 115 Public Speaking is the course to take if you wish to improve your skills in speaking in front of a group. Whatever your career goals, you will find that enhancing your public speaking skills will benefit you. We concentrate on relating a message to an audience, overcoming speech anxiety, organizing ideas into a logical flow, and ethical speaking and listening. SPE 125 Interpersonal Communication focuses on improving our day-to-day communication with all the people around us. We are always communicating, so let's do it more effectively. We will discuss communication in relationships at work and at home. Some topics include how communication is influenced by culture, perception, conflict, and nonverbal communication. ACC offers degree programs that are guaranteed to transfer to any baccalaureate Liberal Arts and Sciences major at any public four-year college or university in the state of Colorado. SPE 115 or SPE125 are required to complete many degree programs.
