Neva Gronert Phone: 303.797.5613 Hello! I'd like to take a moment of your time to tell you a little about me. I've been teaching courses in Speech Communication for 20 years now, and been teaching online for 11 years. I find teaching to be a constant source of renewal for me, as I always learn a lot from my students. I've taught at a variety of colleges and universities, full- and part-time, and I joined the ACC faculty full-time in 2006. My life, and my home, are shared with my husband, Dan, and our border collies. We say the dogs own the home, they just allow us to pay the mortgage! We participate in AKC dog shows, and also do herding and agility with our dogs. We are homebodies, and do a lot of home improvement projects. We also watch way too many DVDs. My other hobbies include photography (digital, right now), reading mysteries and novels, water aerobics, and anything to do with performing arts. My husband and I love to travel. We hope to visit Germany and Austria next year. My bachelor's degree is in K-12 Vocal Music Education, with an expanded minor in Biology, from Adams State College. My masters degree is in Communication from the University of Colorado. Studying speech communication changed my life, and I'd love to share my passion for this field with all of you. |
