MLT Home | Degree | Phlebotomy | Transfer Phlebotomy is the acquired professional skill of performing venipunctures (drawing blood). The Medical Laboratory Technology Program offers a 12-week Phlebotomy Certificate on-campus. Currently, classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This eight credit certificate includes HPR 112 – Phelbotomy (4 credits) and HPR 113 – Advanced Phlebotomy (4 credits) along with 120 hours of clinical internship. Application process for the Phlebotomy Certificate Program A GED or high school diploma is required to qualify for this certificate. Students MUST contact the Medical Laboratory Technology Program Director, Jennifer Kroetch, by phone at 303.797.5796 or e-mail jennifer.kroetch@arapahoe.edu before registering for these courses.
