Getting Started . . .

Your first step for information and starting the Interior Design Program is to attend an Interior Design Department Orientation. At the orientation, faculty and staff cover many aspects of the industry, the Interior Design Program and Arapahoe Community College. Attending an orientation is a program requirement.

The next scheduled orientation is:

Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 5:30 P.M.

Orientations are held in Room 5110, Building 5000 of the Art and Design Center, located at 2400 W. Alamo, Littleton, CO. You can find parking in Lot "J" which is just south of the Art and Design Center, or street parking around our facility. Prior to the orientation, you may want to get admitted to ACC, which you can do online. If you have previous college coursework, you should have "official" transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions and Records and also to the Testing Center. Official transcripts must be sent directly from your previous school to our Admissions and Records Dept. You do not need to bring anything to orientation. You will receive a packet of materials at that time.

Enrollment for Spring 2010 begins November 9, 2009.

Please e-mail anita.lodico@arapahoe.edu to reserve a spot.

This program emphasizes preparation for a career as an Interior Designer. Students will learn to develop not only their creative abilities and how to express them, but also the methods and processes needed to practice Interior Design responsibly and profitably.

Our Program has earned official Endorsement by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and is recognized by the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
