I graduated with a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Denver where I also received an MA in International Studies. My dissertation combined my interests in education and international studies through a study on emergent adults’ views on children’s rights.

My passion lies in education and, thus, I have worked with a variety of student populations and educational programs. This ranges from teaching English to high school students with learning obstacles to writing curriculum materials on topics in international studies. One of the activities I enjoy the most is teaching because I get to work directly with students and help them uncover their skills and talents.
