Crime Analysis Certificate Offers Flexibility
All courses (except for CRJ 266, Crime
Analysis VI - Cooperative Education) will be offered in an accelerated,
online format.
“Accelerated” means the courses will start and finish
in either 5 weeks or 10 weeks. Crime analysis courses will be offered
in succession which will enable you to focus on one or two courses
at a time. As a result, students can complete the certificate program
in as little as two semesters.
Our program provides you options!
- If you are already in law enforcement and want to switch gears,
you can complete the certificate program. The certificate can
be completed in seven classes, including a cooperative education
component, which will give you the knowledge, skills and abilities
to hit the ground running in your new career.
- If you are interested in getting your Associate’s degree,
you can achieve that as well. If you choose the Associate of Applied Sciences degree,
two of the seven courses are part
of the Criminal Justice major and the remaining five courses will
count toward your electives. If you choose the Associate
of General Studies, all seven courses will fulfill the electives
section.
