Medical Office Technology Certificates
The Medical Office Technology programs are designed to place students in outpatient (ambulatory) care facilities. Students may choose between:
The Administrative Assistant certificate enables students to work the front office/reception area of physician’s officers. The Billing & Reimbursement certificate enables students to become a billing specialist in an ambulatory care setting.
The programs are designed in a “step-manner”, allowing students to enter the workforce as soon as possible, while continuing their education in class.
The MOT Curriculum Plan outlines the courses needed to complete the certificates in the Medical Office Technology department. Please complete the MOT application in order to apply to the Medical Office Technology programs at Arapahoe Community College. Criminal Background Checks are required for all Healthcare students including MOT students.

| The Billing and Reimbursement Certificate prepares students to perform the process of coding, billing and reconciling the payment process as related to an ambulatory care facility. | ||
