Law Enforcement Academy Certificate
The ACC Law Enforcement Academy is a P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards and Training) certified program accredited through the Colorado P.O.S.T. Board. The Academy is basic training for law enforcement officers and enables graduates to become P.O.S.T. certified as peace officers in Colorado. The program consists of 40 semester credit hours.
In addition to your application for admission to the College, the Academy requires an additional application that includes an interview with a staff member and a background check before acceptance and enrollment.
Also required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and ENG 121 or higher or equivalent ACCUPLACER score. For more information, contact the Law Enforcement Academy Program in Room N1170 or at 303.797.5793.
