Architectural Design and Technology A.A.S.

The Architectural Design and Technology program will provide students with the skills needed in today’s architectural design field. Students will learn new design technologies that include Building Information Modeling (BIM) design through the creation of architectural models with laser cutters, and 3D plotting equipment. Students will learn sustainable green architecture that will prepare them for the USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination. The program is also packed with many technology based courses that will include coursework in building materials, international building codes (IBC), and computer aided drafting (CAD).
