Accounting A.A.S.

This program is designed to prepare the student for entrylevel positions in the bookkeeping/accounting field. This would include clerical positions in specialized areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, as well as positions with a more total involvement in accounting.

Courses may be substituted with approval from the Accounting Department Chair. Students without a good background in algebra should take the math requirement prior to taking ACC 122. The PED requirement will be waived for students who are 35 years of age or older at time of most recent admission to the College. Appropriate credit must be taken to substitute for the hour waived.
