  1. Apply to ACC
  2. Schedule an Entrance Session - Here, you'll apply for COF, explore the program, and complete all required testing.
  3. Read the Welcome Letter
  4. Read the Student/Parent Agreement
  5. Purchase your textbook – textbooks available approximately four weeks before the term starts

ACCUPLACER:This test is free when taken at designated high schools at the dates and times assigned by your counselor. You may also take this exam at the ACC Main Campus (call 303.797.5659) or by appointment at the University Center at Chaparral (303.734.4822). If you take the exam on dates other than those assigned by your counselor, you will be charged $10. In addition if you need to improve your scores you may retake parts or all of the test for $10 per section.

Students must have applied for admission to ACC in order to take the ACCUPLACER exam. If you have not completed this, you can do it at the test. Be sure to bring the following to your testing session if you need help applying to ACC:

  • A parent or guardian's driver license number
  • A copy of a parent or guardian's automobile registration
  • Your social security number
  • Please write to john.hamilton@arapahoe.edu if you have questions about what to bring. Alternate forms of identification are available

The test is un-timed.

Allow 90 minutes to complete the exam.
