Physical Fitness Specialist
The Physical Fitness Specialist Certificate offers focused instruction for current professionals wanting to update their skills and earn continuing education credits (CEC’s) or for those who do not plan on continuing their education. The certificate can be completed in two or more semesters. Students should be aware that some of the required courses have prerequisites.
Students must score an 80 on the reading ACCUPLACER, 95 on the sentence skills ACCUPLACER, 85 on the mathematical ACCUPLACER.

What can I do when I receive my Certificate in Physical Fitness Specialist?
Our certificate program is for students with a bachelor’s degree who are preparing for a National Certification test in the field of exercise science and sport or those in need of continuing education credits for a current national certification.
Students who earn a degree in Human Performance also earn the Physical Fitness Specialist certificate.
