Engineering Technologies offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree that provides you an opportunity to acquire skills using the Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software. The degree program allows you to choose a career path in either architecture or mechanical design.
Additionally, this program offers mini certificates in CAD 2D, CAD 3D, and CAD Custom. Other courses offered in the program include Inventor or Solidworks for mechanical design or Revit for architectural design.
Students in the architectural design track will create physical models using the latest technologies. Three dimensional plotters and laser cutters will assist you in creating models from various materials. You will be introduced to Building Information Modeling (BIM) and sustainable design.
Students in the mechanical design track will study design, materials, manufacturing processes and Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T).
Graduates from this program are prepared for many Computer Aided design employment opportunities in the fields of architecture or mechanical design. Job titles may include
