This 27-hour EMS Certificate program provides classes that will broaden your knowledge and skills in emergency medical services (EMS). These classes also improve your marketability in the EMS field and meet the academic requirements for most paramedic programs.
- To get into the ACC Paramedic Degree or Paramedic Certificate Program, you must have EMS 121, 122, 123, 170, 130, CCN 230, BIO 201 and 202 and take the HOBIT test. In addition, you need at least one year of EMS field experience.)
The EMT Basic Enhanced Certificate is perfect if you wish to pursue the Paramedic Certificate, degree in Paramedicine or other healthcare professions. Most emergency departments require at least IV and EKG certifications.
