AIR 101 The Air Force Today I
1 Credit
Introduces students to the U.S. Air Force and the USAF officer profession. Uses instructor lectures, films and videos, and group activities to examine Air Force issues, officership qualities, and military customs and courtesies. Examines the communication skills necessary for an Air Force officer. One hour lecture and two hours of lab per week.

PREREQUISITE: Instructor’s permission.

 AIR 102 The Air Force Today II

Continues AIR 101

PREREQUISITE: AIR 101 or Instructor’s permission.

 AIR 201 The Development of Air Power I
1 Credit
Studies air power from balloons and dirigibles through the jet age and historically reviews air power employment in military and nonmilitary operations in support of national objectives. Looks at the evolution of air power concepts and doctrine and introduces the development of communicative skills.

PREREQUISITE: AIR 102 or Instructor’s permission.

 AIR 202 The Development of Air Power II
1 Credit
Focuses on the basic characteristics of air doctrine, United States Air Continues AIR 201. One hour lecture and two hours of lab each week.

PREREQUISITE: AIR 201 or Instructor’s permission.
