Application Process

Prerequisites and Application Process

Associate Degree Nursing (ADN)

The nursing program application process and criteria at ACC is changing. Information about the NEW requirements will appear on this page when they are available. The program had a “first-come-first-served” application process from 2003 until 2008, and as a result created a waitlist. As a result, the average time between award of a waitlist number and acceptance into the program was three years. Currently, no applications are being accepted for the nursing program.

The application process will be reopened when all students previously on the waitlist have been offered admission into the nursing program. The estimated time to re-open our competitive selection process is fall 2011.

Students interested in applying to the ADN Program must complete five prerequisite courses, the Nurse Aide Certification and meet basic skills assessment scores::
