FRE 201 – Conversational French III – 3 credits
- Prerequisite: FRE 102 or instructor permission.
- Required materials: French in Action, the Capretz Method, 2nd ed., Yale University Press. Textbook & Workbook (part 1) and audio CDs. (Copies of the CDs can be purchased from the media Center). Chapter 19 through 26 of the textbook and workbook will be covered in this course.
- Student Competencies: Upon completion of this course the student at the low intermediate level should be able to:

Accurately reproduce the pronunciation and intonation of French.

Understand more advanced oral statements, instructions, and questions.

Accurately apply vocabulary and learned phrases in more complex expressions.
