LEED Exam Preparation

Created by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) course provides a detailed exploration of the LEED rating system for a general understanding of what LEED is and how it is implemented. LEED is a green building certification system. Buildings that are LEED certified are designed to save energy, water, improved indoor air quality and a reduction in CO2 emissions. LEED exam preparation consists of one 3-credit hour course designed to prepare students to take the LEED examination. AEC 219 LEED Exam Preparation

Prepares students for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) examination by the U.S. Green Building Council and provides a detailed exploration of the LEED rating system for a general understanding of what LEED is and how it is implemented. Topics include sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation in design.
