JOU 105 Introduction To Mass Media: GT-SS3
3 Credits
Places the mass media in an historical and cultural perspective,
considering the validity, integrity and influence of the
media in a democracy. This course is one of the Statewide
Guaranteed Transfer Courses. GT-SS3
JOU 106 Fundamentals Of Reporting
3 Credits
Introduces news writing, reporting and interviewing with an
emphasis on clarity, accuracy, completeness, timeliness and
fairness.
PREREQUISITE: ENG 121.

Provides for students participation in the planning, writing, design and production processes of a non-newspaper publication.
