Explore the Disaster Housing Field

Are you looking for a way to use your skills to help people in their time of need, as well as an opportunity to make money? If so you may want to consider becoming a disaster housing inspector. When the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declares a federal disaster for Individual Assistance, Disaster Housing Inspectors are deployed to the area to inspect and record damages to homes and personal property. Find out what it takes to be a part of this field.

Field Inspector Basics: An Overview of Opportunities

Colorado has a high ranking in national foreclosures and personal/business bankruptcies creating a growing demand for field inspectors. Many financial institutions rely on field inspectors to be their eyes and ears helping to eliminate fraud. Explore the basics of this lucrative field and the numerous segments of the industry. Discuss how to work for yourself and set your own schedule in this overview course.

Peter Van de Sande has worked in the inspection field for over 20 years. He is a licensed insurance adjuster, a certified disaster housing inspector, and currently works in the field. He trains inspectors and adjusters for All Fields Training Institute.

AARP Driver Safety Program
— AARP Staff
This classroom course helps drivers, 50 years and older, refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques. Pre-registration is required. You may be eligible for an automotive insurance discount by successfully completing this class.

Shore excursions can be costly, learn how to select the ones that will enhance your trip the most. Cruise packing is a treat if you know what to bring. Avoid confusion, unfulfilled expectations, poor choices of ship for your age group or expectations. Cruise clubs, docking, arriving, and departing schedules are important aspects of planning as well as insurance needs, booking agents, and more. Bon Voyage!

Senior Water Exercise
Jump in! The water temperature is just right for helping eliminate those extra pounds and getting a good workout. In this fun and invigorating environment, increase your muscular strength and flexibility and improve your cardiovascular heath and ability to balance using tools such as water dumbbells and noodles. Designed for most all fitness levels and does not require the ability to swim.

Senior Water Class: Punch Card
For your convenience and if you enjoy the flexibility of attending Senior Water Exercise classes at various times because of scheduling conflicts, you can now purchase a punch card which entitles you to 15 one hour class sessions of Senior Water Exercise during the current session only. Attend any of the times listed and the instructor will punch your card for you.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ISSUED FOR TIMES NOT USED ON YOUR CARD. NON-USED TIME PUNCHES MAY NOT BE USED ANY OTHER TERM. ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF PUNCH CARDS ARE SOLD EACH SESSION.
