Learn to make herbal first aid kits to treat minor emergencies. These kits can be used at home or to carry along on biking, hiking and camping trips. Be prepared to care for bumps, bruises, burns, stop bleeding, shock etc. You can make your kit as basic and small or comprehensive or as large as you wish. TAI CHI
Holly YangBeginning Tai Chi Standard Yang Style 24 Form

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art and a form of moving meditation, discipline, defense and exercise. It has martial and health aspects and it is practiced by millions in China and throughout the world. The main focus is to promote good health. Daily Tai Chi practice relieves stress and tension, increases energy and tranquility, regulates the body’s internal systems, and improves balance, flexibility, strength, and physical-mental harmony and well being. Learn the Tai Chi stances, movements and forms in sequence with clear, step-by-step instruction. Basic meditation and Qi Gong exercise included. You must be physically able to move. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. This is an on-going class. You will not learn all 24 forms in one class term. For those with physical limitations, this class may not be appropriate.
Holly Yang has been teaching Tai Chi for over 20 years and was the 1st place winner for Yang Style Tai Chi 108 Form in Shanghai, China.

TAEKWON-DO
TaeKwon-Do for All Levels

TaeKwon-Do is a modern Korean martial art designed for all skill and experience levels. The class combines mental, philosophical, self-motivational, and aerobic training of unarmed combat for self-defense as well as health. Learn and practice the skilled application of bare hand and kicking techniques as well as blocks and dodges for the rapid destruction of a moving opponent or opponents. Take this class with your child ages 8 and above.
Douglas Arnold, VI Degree Black Belt. Doug started TaeKwon-Do at the University of Colorado in 1980 and has competed in over half of the states in this country. He represented the U.S.A. in 4 world championships. Additionally, he earned 1 bronze and 2 silver medals in power breaking, 1 gold in sparring, along with being the men’s team captain. He has trained under General Choi, the Grandmaster, founder, and inventor of TaeKwon-Do. Mr. Arnold has been teaching for 27 years and has produced many Black Belts throughout the United States.

How to Give a Full Body Massage

Learn the mechanics of a therapeutic massage, covering Swedish and deep muscle tissue techniques and how to take care of your body while giving a massage. Put it all together and perform a whole body massage with attention to neck, shoulders, and back. Wear loose clothing with short sleeves (swim suits and trunks worn while receiving massages). Infant, Child, and Adult CPR
This is a non health-care provider class. Learn how to save a life in an emergency cardiac problem or choking situation. Course costs include a manual and certification upon successful completion. Suitable for anyone 11 years old and older. Instructors are working firefighters/paramedics.

Infant, Child, And Adult CPR for Health Care Providers
This meets the criteria for health-care provider certification upon successful completion of class and a written exam. Learn how to save a life in an emergency cardiac problem or choking situation. CPR and First Aid
This combination CPR and First Aid course combines Community CPR, rescue breathing and choking with Basic First Aid. The Basic First Aid course teaches the student how to handle bleeding, falls, fractures, dislocations, shock, seizures, and environmental injuries. Upon completion of this 5 1/2 hour course, you will receive two completion cards valid for two years.
