Meghan Cave

Meghan Cave began her career in higher education at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) in 2004. After four years in admissions and financial aid at CSM, Meghan went to work for CollegeInvest, a not-for-profit division of the Department of Higher Education, where she provided education and outreach on college savings and financial aid for the state of Colorado. In 2010 Meghan joined the Colorado GEAR UP team as the Director of Financial Aid. At Colorado GEAR UP, a federally funded pre-collegiate grant managed by the Department of Higher Education, Meghan administers the GEAR UP scholarship from previous grants, develops financial aid and financial literacy curriculum for the current grant and provides financial aid training to GEAR UP staff.

Meghan received her Master’s in Education from CSU in 2007 and her certificate as a Certified College Planning Specialist in 2008. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys hiking and listening to live music.
