Joy Schultz

Joy’s earliest childhood memories are of noticing and loving beauty. Joy took numerous art classes in high school and returned to art as she homeschooled her kids. When her children entered middle school, Joy started taking painting classes at The Art Students League of Denver. Joy continued to take weeklong workshops with her favorite professional artists. She has exhibited in local, state, and national shows and won numerous awards. In 2005, she started teaching and found out how much she loves inspiring, encouraging, and sharing her gifts with others.

Joy grew up near Chicago, Illinois. She earned a BA in Sociology and a BS in Elementary Education. She has also recently become a Certified Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie—a way to clear the mind by questioning stressful thoughts.
