Bring your laptop with loaded Elements software and images to BOTH classes to practice and get advice for using the Elements tool. During the first week, Tricia presents an overview of basic image editing workflow with the quick fix and full editor’s tools and features, plus how the photo organizer can simplify image storage, searching and viewing. Other essential skills covered include working with layers, creating multiple image layouts, adding text effects and optimum formatting to output for printing, wallpaper, email and the web.

Tricia presents information about “digital darkroom” techniques to correct and enhance lighting, color, distortion and sharpness. Tools and features covered include levels, non-destructive adjustment layers, masking and blending, sharpening, color and skin tone correction, plus camera RAW file editing.
