 Making Creative Photography Images

Photography is fun to learn. This class is filled with exciting activities, games, and practice using a digital camera you bring from home. Basic operation of a camera, lighting, and composition are taught. The instructor will photograph you and print the image on 8 x 10 canvas for you to hand-color and take home as a framed masterpiece. Bring a digital point and shoot camera and your manual if you have one.

 Red Cross Babysitting

Getting ready to get a job and earn money in the field of babysitting? Learn what to do in an emergency, how to administer first aid, and what is needed to keep a child safe. Study the techniques of feeding, burping, changing a diaper, dressing, and carrying a baby. An introduction to rescue breathing and conscious choking for infants and children will also be covered. You must be 11 years old or older to take this class. Fee includes a Red Cross Babysitting Guide and certificate upon successful completion.

Community Education, in cooperation with ed2go, the industry leader in online continuing education, has partnered with Smart Horizons Career Online High School to offer adults seeking secondary education completion a new and dynamic way to offer a fully-accredited online high school diploma giving you an affordable, flexible, and convenient way to learn at your own pace and prepare for a career!

Through this partnership, adults who have not earned a high school diploma can receive a high-quality education completely online from an accredited high school. In addition to earning their diploma, students will also receive career training in one of six areas.
