The right of students to pursue their educational goals is ensured by policies and procedures. The "rules" include the Student Code of Conduct and the Student Grievance Procedure. These procedures establish behavioral expectations that protect the learning environment for all students. The governing documents for Arapahoe Community College are:
A student is subject to two sources of authority: College authority and civil-criminal authority. ACC also expects students who are enrolled in specialized programs such as Nursing to follow the standards specified in the program handbooks.
Questions about any of the topics covered in these policies and procedures may be addressed to the Dean of Student Services, through the Student Affairs Office.
Arapahoe Procedures related to students are based on Board Policy and/or CCCS Presidents procedures.
